"FRANK ORTEGA CHICKEN"
Here's a great way to spice up your favorite chicken cut.
1 cup Frank's Original Hot Sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Ortega Taco Seasoning
This will do around 50 wings sections or a dozen thighs or 16 legs.
Mix it all up and put your chicken and the brine in a gallon zip lock or other suitable container. Refridgerate for at least 2 hours (I like longer), turning and massaging often. Get the grill hot, remove the chicken and coat all sides with more Ortega. Pour the remaing brine in a pan, add a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water to thin and heat on the grill (bring to boil then remove from heat), do not let the sauce get thick or it will be salty, add more water if needed. Grill the chicken and baste with every turn until it's nice and crispy and done. Don't get the grill to hot or it will burn.
